We were very satisfied with our Xtreme4x4 car.
When you go into the bush, far away from anybody and among dangerous animals, you need to be sure that the car you get is in perfect condition, well equipped for whatever might happen on the way. Obviously this concern was shared by the company, and we were very happy with the triple battery system, the high lift jack (that we did not used!), the big axe and shovel (that we used, but only for the evening fire), the big electric converter, the jump start (that we did not used either!).We felt secured knowing that event rescue flares were available should we need to signal ourselves…
We did not have any single problem with the car. It is very powerful, comfortable and easy to drive, even in the deep sand of the central Kalahari. The big tanks are a must with their 280 litres, and they give you a good range even though the car drinks around 20 liters/100km (more in deep sand). The sliding racks at the back make life easy, and the big fridge helps enjoy fresh waters when it gets really hot.
Our next trip is scheduled, one full month in the bush, and we will renew our confidence to Xtreme4x4 and the big Toyota!

We rent the HDJ80 for 23 days in Septemper 2010, it was a very nice car with full equipment, they provide you with all the things you need and all of them are new.
Only when you have problems you can check the service and i want to say that their service is superb, we had bad luck as we hit a cow in our trip and we broke the car, we must pay the things we broke of course, but they are not thieves like other companies, you must only pay the things you broke and if you are disappointed with a charge after speak with them you don't have to pay it.
Next year we will be there again and of course we rent the car to Xtreme 4x4 again, because they are very nice people with a very nice cars.
